I arrived in Brooklyn at 3 years old with my parents from Port-au-Prince, Haiti where I was born. I lived on Eastern Parkway and then moved to East 96th Street. This mix is a tribute to HAITI however it is also a celebration of ALL CARIBBEAN PEOPLE. Being raised in Brooklyn, Montreal, Canada, and New Jersey, I always held a special place in my heart for Brooklyn because of the fact that this was the very first place that I came to directly from Haiti.
